Managed six project managers as well as managed three of Confidential 's largest projects ever attempted. Developed a project management practice and implemented project management procedures for the I.T. department. Responsible for the management of multiple projects including Total Access

Markets (TAM), now their largest product offering. This project integrated 4 separate systems into one integrated web application which provided a seamless interface to customers to access all the functionality of these four systems to the customers. This project spanned 4 teams of approximately 25 programmers. This project was delivered with a very aggressive timeline on time and with minimal defects.

The next project was "Virtualization". This consisted of moving the TOPS application off of the Sun

Server Platform to a Virtualized Linux environment (SUSE) on an IBM Z990 mainframe platform which was supported by Confidential . This was a huge undertaking because it was cross company as well as the main driver for the move was the volume of the TOPS business was increasing by 100% due to a large client coming on board. The legacy system was unable to support the volume of traffic so the move to the Virtual Environment had to occur. The system was successfully ported to the new

environment: without any major defects and handled the 100% increase in volume with a faster response time than the legacy system did with half the traffic.

The first was to integrate the DealerTrack Dealer Management System with

Alpherapath (a BMW subsidiaries credit and funding system). The second was to implement an electronic contracting solution (eContracting).

DealerTrack is one of the largest Dealer Management Systems (OMS) with over 22,000 dealerships subscribing. The dealerships use this system for selling, financing and funding automotive deals.

Alphera (a new company owned by BMW) funds none BMW automotive deals. My responsibility was to integrate our Alpherapath Funding Application with the Dealertrack application so it would be able to receive credit applications electronically, decision them and then send the decisions back to DealerTrack. eContracting is the second large project and the goal was to create a paperless deal by replacing paper contracts with electronic contracts. This entailed obtain electronic signatures, e-vaulting and e-delivery of contracts. This required integrating the Silantis functionality into BMW's Infobahn system.

For both projects, responsibilities included running meetings for requirements gathering sessions with the business partners and outside vendors. Creation of requirements documents, running project status meetings, tracking project budgets, managing issues, creating and performing test cases.
