Responsibilities:

  • He leads a team of 12 employees and contractors to perform Application Development, Operational Support, and Database Maintenance for the Confidential Data Warehousing contract. This contract involves the transfer, management, and reporting of terabytes of Confidential data to better prepare our troops for world-wide health related concerns.
  • He is responsible for ensuring the timely transfer and processing of data received via sFTP on a daily basis, the production of daily data extracts, as well as the maintenance and support of the databases that support these efforts.
  • He is also responsible for leading the maintenance and support of the branches four applications (DMED, ProMIS, DoDSR, and DMSS-MT).
  • These applications are designed in .Net, Java, and PowerBuilder.
  • Confidential works with the Infrastructure team to coordinate efforts that support the branches technical infrastructure needs, while updating the Government Lead on status, issues, and recommendations for improvements.
