The Medical Services Division of the North Dakota Department of Human Services (DHS) is the State agency responsible for administering the Medicaid program in North Dakota. The North Dakota Information Technology Department (ITD) and the DHS Division of Information Technology (DoIT) are responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). DHS was in the process of rewriting the existing MMIS legacy application using 21st century technologies.
