- Developed and implemented a process to track client’s global sales force effectiveness and create the architecture for account profitability management. Carefully analyzed all cost components, including rebates, transportation costs, and manufacturing costs and determined actual profit margins for each sale. The tool enabled the Sales Management Team to more closely manage actual profit margins and not merely focus on volume. Result: The new approach generated a $95 million increase in profit.
- Worked with the C-Level executives of a newly-forming joint venture between Celanese and Degussa and created the new firms strategy articulation and developed the organizational design and staffing guidelines for the HR, Sales, and Supply Chain Departments. Result: The new company started on a firm foundation and opened offices in Frankfurt and Oberhausen, Germany; and Bishop, Texas.
