- Led a team of sixty-five staff which provided ongoing support and system evolution for a national wireless carrier.
- The solution included six major subsystems (Customer Care, Pricing, Rating, Billing, Collections and Finance). The team consisted of six managers and various project managers (aka Feature Leads).
- We were extremely successful in streamlining the development processes and customizing them to be in-synch with the end customer’s overall QA methodology.
- A strong focus on following the development methodology, use of actual code inspections and direct involvement in the requirements phase yielded strong results: the defect backlog was reduced from over a thousand issues to a handful the amount of new defects was reduced to a trickle the amount of time spent on billable new feature development rose tremendously the overall revenue for the account increased significantly which led to my promotion to Director two test phases were eliminated (formal Integration Testing and the use of Winrunner) reducing overall cost and time to market
- During this time we created the first Confidential offshore development team. We were able to leverage our development processes to quickly on board this talent and achieve a lower overall cost and provide the necessary bandwidth to step up the heavy work volumes.

- The team of twenty consisted of Senior Technical Consultants, Senior Analysts, Analysts and Programmers. The P2K project was behind schedule and additional development teams (such as mine) were added to ensure it was market ready. The product suffered from a multitude of functional issues and poor performance.
