SUMMARY
- I am an instigator, pilot, locksmith, entrepreneur, agilist, hacker, hustler, info sec dabbler, linux systems administrator, empirical program manager, lean product manager, mediocre programmer, part time sales guy and I'm customer focused
- With a career spanning 13 years of servant leadership I have worked with both the Fortune 500 and bootstrapped startups both domestically and internationally. - Toyota Production System (TPS), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Design thinking, DevOps, TDD, BDD, Continuous Delivery/Integration (CI/CD), Six Sigma and lastly the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Though I have spent my fair share of time in business roles, I enjoy business roles with a more technical leaning. The majority of my career has been spent in the Engineering, Telecommunications, Startups,
- Fintech, Healthcare and Insurance industries. I have held full financial responsibility on bootstrapped startups clear up to $25mm/yr programs. I have taken over five products from MVP (minimum viable product) to market, varying from open source products, to closed source SaaS models.
- I have the distinct advantage of coming to management from a systems engineering background primarily focused on Linux server infrastructure. I greatly enjoy programming and scripting for automation of tasks and testing, ultimately resulting in high performing teams. I am definitely a generalist, but my speciality is is working with distributed and diverse teams.
- As a transformational leader I believe it is most important to test business as usual to ensure our process is based on something we have learned rather than simply 'the way its always been done'.
