Responsibilities:

• Served as a Senior Confidential (BAH) Systems Delivery Group (SDG) IT Service / Infrastructure team member supporting the BAH SDG mission of managing both the risk and quality associated with the firm's $ 2B+ secure software development practice. My team is systematically standardizing, centralizing, and securing a $ 2M+ IT portfolio of Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) software and hardware located within the BAH corporate infrastructure. Additionally, by collaborating closely with our client delivery teams we integrate application security best practices into their IT systems, which builds a more secure product.
• As the United States, Marine Corp (USMC) Maximo Mobile Work (MMWM) Manager, I spearheaded a multi-million-dollar state-of-the-art mobile procurement initiative for the USMC. I was tasked with investigating the mobile market offerings, select and then test the mobile industry leaders, achieve DISA device approval/accreditation and then procure the devices and their associated hardware for a thousand plus users. A set of value-based criteria was developed after interviewing/surveying the end users in the field, their management, our government client and DISA security representatives. My mobile team analyzed, modelled and assessed multiple mobile offerings, both quantitatively and qualitatively, and developed a recommendation based on weighted variables gleaned from surveys and expert knowledge.
• Conceptualized, lobbied, created and managed the Virtual Infrastructure Group (VIG). As the Visionary, Project Manager and VMware administrator our BAH internal offering grew to 160 servers hosting more than $111M of projects. Provided project management and leadership associated with support of this internal offering. I was responsible for day-to-day operations, marketing, documentation, receivables and provided senior level windows server administration. Worked with a myriad of Booz Allen teams training and supporting both the test & development environments as well as determining opportunities for utilization of the virtual technology in production environments. Additionally, I worked as part of the windows server team supporting large-scale terminal server environments and other various windows server infrastructures. Provided hardware support for the Dell, HP, and IBM server infrastructure and software support for W2016, W2012, W2008, W2K3, W2K, and NT 4.0 operating systems. Eventually, Corporate BAH took the offering over and virtualized the entire firm.

One of only three projects to be appraised by an independent certified High Maturity Lead Appraiser and his team, which resulted in BAH receiving the highly coveted CMMI Maturity Level 5. As one of only 11 Fortune 500 companies in the world to receive this rating demonstrated BAH’s ability to implement process-based methodologies applied to software development, with a focus on continual systematic and technological enhancements over time. CMMI is an excellent process improvement framework that guides organizations in high performance operations across a project, division, or an entire organization. I wrote the CM Plan, kept and maintained the project schedule, created and maintained the PAL and was the MMWM with over 600 clients at nine different USMC installations.
