I work with GDIT IT and business personnel, up-to and including directors and vice presidents, in multiple forums, such as the following boards and committees, which I chartered and facilitate

  • Drove IT segment of ~$1.1-million, ~8,000-hour project to implement Buy Online Pickup in Store at Jo-Ann
  • Facilitated collaboration between IBM Sterling (Order Management System vendor), Expicient (Integration Partner), Lyons (User Experience vendor), and Jo-Ann personnel, to ensure expectations were managed, “road blocks” were removed, and issues were raised and addressed in a timely manner

  • Managed ~3,000-hour pilot project to present Progressive agents with Retail Package tailored to vehicle type (e.g., “Chrome Lovers Package” for motorcycle), based on such factors as vehicle age, value, and usage
  • Goal was to roll out to five states on 3/20/13 and to five additional states on 5/1/13. Result was that team rolled out to all ten promised states on 3/20/13 and to five additional states on 5/1/13.
  • Managed ~3,700-hour project to re-engineer Internet Information Server (IIS) web log collection process for Direct and Agency. Web servers feeding process were sometimes unavailable, requiring manual intervention to restore data needed to diagnose customer issues & monitor performance, during which time data could be lost.
  • Result was that project team successfully created stable process to collect IIS logs from customer-serving web servers several times per day, as opposed to once per day in batch process.
