Manage insurance coverage for all residents. Communicate with HMOs, provide medical updates, advocate for utmost coverage, counsel residents & families regarding HMO coverage requirements/ limitations, audit muti-departmental documentation to ensure maximum, justified coverage.
Create, audit & adjust facility nursing policies upon administration request. Audit quality assurance plans of correction.
Compile reports with audit conclusions and present results to administration. In-service nursing staff, as needed, upon administration request.
