- Identified the asset attributes that were bound to a CMDB accuracy SLA. Performed a GAP analysis to identify inaccurate values that required a CMDB update.
- Created an automatic database to capture all source input data for data scrubbing in order to audit & reconcile the CMDB GAPs. (ADDM, SCCM, AD, Antivirus, Eracent, Casper) Database generates specific reports focused on a subset of assets, which are then submitted to tower leads for validation and approvals for CMDB updates. Effort has driven CMDB accuracy levels from low 40% accuracy to near 95% accuracy. Special project to audit WB legacy CMDB data and procurement data to account for a higher than normal number of missing workstation assets. Root cause of audit determined that hardware providers were 50% inaccurate when documenting a shipped device serial number.
