  • This project exists to migrate mailboxes from disparate email platforms in Barclays Africa onto the existing Barclays global Strategic Email Platform. Legacy platforms consist of Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010. As well as utilising the existing Barclays Africa Exchange 2007 platform, the project is provisioning two new Exchange 2013 PODs, one in the UK and one in South Africa. The project will provided capacity for an additional 12,000 mailboxes and will migrate c.18,000 users. As a result 12 legacy Exchange platforms will be decommissioned c. 150 existing Exchange servers .

  • Replaced the hardware and desktop build at all UK Barclays branches. The scope was comprised of c. 20,000 machines in c. 1,600 branches. The project was outsourced to one main 3rd party provider with several smaller providers also involved. As the single Barclays point of contact for these providers, I oversaw and drove the project, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales. I also co-ordinated Barclays technical teams working on project deliverables.

In addition, I also performed the role of End User Experience liaison between the stakeholders and the programme.

  • TSQ is the team within RBS responsible for the bespoke Change Management Application Catalogue tools. The purpose of the project was the globalisation of this team's tools and support and a move to a 'follow the sun' model. The enhancement and development of the Change Management and Global Environment Listing GEL tools significantly enhanced controls as well as increased usability and efficiency. This resulted in decreased overhead for both support teams and end users. I managed this project, using Agile techniques, with Business Analyst and Development resources in the UK and India.

  • This Project delivered a GUI which pulled together the diverse System Access Management tools required for the New Joiner Process. This project achieved the integration of the Lombard estate into the RBS Group Desktop Infrastructure. The team worked with business and technical representatives within Lombard to rationalise, package and test applications for integration into RBS and for migration to a Vista platform. I was the primary contact with one of the Lombard business areas, liaising with the business unit representatives and business engagement teams and was responsible for end-to-end management of all applications required for scheduled deployment dates.

The Coutts NT-XP Project integrated the Coutts estate into the RBS Group Desktop Infrastructure. This involved migrating over 2,500 users from Lotus Notes to MS Exchange and over 1,400 users from a complex Windows NT4 platform to the RBS Group standard Windows XP platform. I was the Deployment Project Coordinator and reported into the Deployment Project Manager. This was a business-facing role involving extensive stakeholder relationship management.
