Responsibilities:
- There was no existing solution or method for formally reviewing and accepting new projects, forecasting resource utilization or managing life-cycle refresh requirements. To that end, I have been asked to provide the following services and solutions.
- Out of the gate, provide Project Management Oversite and leadership to 9 to 12 projects currently inflight. This is to include structuring a PMO methodology to address what is a project verses what is operational tasks, develop documentation and artifact processes to capture project key performance indicators: Project Plan, Budget Tracker, Risk/issues log, and Status Reporting to “C” level leadership.
- Long term goal is to establish an ICT centric PMO framework to establish a formal intake process as well as formalize a technical review board and a peer phase review process. Leveraging Smart Sheets and MS Teams to capture critical artifacts, milestones, communications & deliverables for each project. Also develop SmartSheet dashboards to provide key progress and metrics indicators individually and over program goal for each year.
- Actively projects include three New Office relocation build outs and IT Network Infrastructure including Cisco 9300 Switches and MS390 Meraki switches as well as Meraki MR56 WAP, several Audio Video deployments, as well as project to replace all existing Session Boarder Controllers and firewalls with 3rd party vendor cloud-based SDWAN solution (Cloudgenix), across all offices.
- This included upgrading ISP/Circuit providers. There were 23 other active smaller infrastructure and operational refresh efforts in flight, that were added to the project tracking pool.

Responsibilities:
- I was asked to assist the WPS group to coordinate & assist in the execution of the project planning & installation for these efforts.
- Process & communications documentation as well as tracking, ordering & reporting on all IT related deliverables & requirements & install.
- These efforts would include replacing Juniper switching to Cisco 9300 & 9500 Core network switches, vendor managed Cisco routers as well as Aero-Hive WAP.
- We also migrate or upgrade MPLS circuits, building out new MDF & IDF closets to include cooling, racks, power management, Kastle Key Card access & security cameras, & Audio Video rooms in 45 offices across the US. Working with the local business leaders, identify technical requirements, develop technical solutions to fit the office space & provide new trends & efficiencies.
- Core technologies include; MDF/IDF design & Build, Core Network build & connectivity (Phones / Internet / VPN), uninterrupted power supply (UPS) design & build, cooling design, Audio Video design Video conference & VOIP. Also work with General Contractors & construction vendors for power specifications & low volt cabling & termination, new Workstation / Furniture builds, work area setups, telephony & conference room setups, vendor management of carriers & service providers.
- Many of these efforts were coordinated with the SDWAN upgrade for all GT locations.
- SDWAN project was a simple CPE/Hardware replacement effort from legacy session boarder controllers On-site CPE solution to Cisco’s DNA Advantage solution for cloud-based management.
- Director of PMO, received a request to have any/all offices replace & upgrade the Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) devices.
- I was tasked to coordinate the effort & to; ID locations with UPS devices that were no longer under warranty, UPS Devices that did not have remote access, & create a bill of materials to install the required new hardware. Also had to calculate the voltage & amp utilization to ensure that each site design would include the proper amount of expansion battery packs to ensure any office MDF/IDF closet would have enough battery power to keep the network active for 90 to 120 minutes depending on core business requirements.

- Having worked with Confidential & Confidential and the Confidential client on previous efforts, Confidential & Confidential asked me to return and assist in a cost reduction / Telecom cleanup effort that involved deploying new diversity and high availability network load-balancing on both the data & voice traffic.
- This was a limited effort specifically focused in establishing the schedule and timelines for 243 sites.
- Develop tracking documentation and recording key deliverables including trigger points and aggregated savings throughout the life-cycle of the effort. Priority was to identify sites with more costly 3rd party fail-over circuits and sites with no failover.
- Designs had to validate the global and local diversity availability prior to implementation. If implemented as structured in the final program plan, the resulting savings would exceed more than $1.5MM for the remaining 2017 calendar year.

- Confidential / Confidential had identified several acquisition call center & large office locations that were not compatible with Confidential standards.
- There locations would not integrate into existing reporting platforms or Work Force Management flow controls.
- I would be responsible for coordinating resources to identified all countries and sites that did not meet standards and migrate those locations to the new Confidential / Confidential Cisco UCCE infrastructure. Working with contacts around the globe, we identified site contact leads.
- We gather site requirements & UC specific functional specs.
- We coordinated local Telco & Network/Internet provider services with Corporate IT & Telecom Groups.
- Coordinate 3rd Party Vendor activities & support (Field Support - Dimension Data, Technical Support - Cisco Systems, Telecom Support - Verizon) Established regional rollout schedules. I hosted weekly meetings with technical teams and business leads, reviewed cut sheets & play-book plans.
- Validate end user cut sheet details, and implemented upgrades in 12 call centers in 6 countries: Italy, Singapore, Russia, Columbia, Mexico, and the United States.
- Overall delivery was completed ahead of schedule despite the number of government requirements and pharmaceutical regulatory bodies.
- And estimated $100K+ was saved as we convinced leadership to allow for prestaging of any new hardware, and leverage local vendor resources.

- Confidential & Confidential had signed a Statement of Work with one of its “signature” accounts ( Confidential ) to upgrade 1500+ retails sites to Cisco UCCE Communications as a Service (CaaS) and to migrate all of Confidential ’s retails location to Confidential & Confidential ’s cloud hosted telecommunication service.
- Confidential has 1500+ retail locations across the US and Puerto Ricco.
- Many sites were acquired and accounted for a number of diverse & disconnected types of telecom technologies.
- This has been difficult and costly to maintain.
- Confidential & Confidential contacted me directly and asked me to provide program management oversight of the engagement.
- I was responsible for engage with all of Confidential & Confidential vendor-partners to develop a single cross organizational plan.
- That plan consisted of; Site survey & design analysis for new rack install, cabling & Wi-Fi heat mapping, procurement of all hardware, logistic to ship, warehouse, pre-stage and configure, ship to end client sites, coordinate 3rd party vendors to install new low voltage cabling and Wi-Fi devices, to coordinate 3rd party vendor to implement install of all new hardware and decommission legacy systems.
- Also coordinated with Single Wire to design and configure IVR menus for each site, plus custom develop Overhead paging and announcements.
- Confidential the same time Confidential & Confidential would be identify MAC address of all phone sets, create the Confidential & Confidential orders to migrate all Confidential / POTs lines, or DID blocks from TDM/PSTN to SIP.
- End Result was an fully functional service delivered 6 months ahead of schedule, We deployed 1407 Cisco 2911 routers with Confidential & Confidential LTE backup failover, 1407 Cisco 2960 layer 2 VLAN switches, 4221 Cisco Wireless Access Points, 2814 IP LAN wired phones, 8442 Wireless IP phones with charging stations, and 1407 APC RTS5000 UPS units with remote access.
- All units were enclosed in a secure, wall-mount network cabinet.
