The Orion update is a $350M technology update that needs to be rolled out to existing customers.   • Confidential is a leading Home Goods retailer operating extensively in the US & Canada. Ajit worked on multiple enterprise class programs as Program Manager.
  • In 2019 to 2020, he worked as a member of the Transformation Office/Strategic PMO team, Ajit worked as a senior PMO team member to support Business & IT teams to execute projects across the enterprise. The program involved relocating the San Francisco office to New York city, reassigning much of OKL resources with the objective of reducing operating costs while enhancing revenue.   • Confidential is the business of regulation of US financial markets on behalf of US Stock Exchanges and expected to modernize their large and critical Case Management suite of applications based on the recommendations of KPMG. The project impacted all aspects of FINRAs operation and is expected to have 1000+ internal users and thousands of external users from various US Stock Exchanges, brokerage houses, brokers and the general public. Confidential identifies transaction patterns mined from the millions of daily trading records that pour in to spot potential violations of the law and rules defined by the SEC. The Case Management product would be used by all Confidential business & legal teams to track and manage cases that are brought on various brokerages houses, brokers and other entities by allowing violation triage, investigation, prosecution and enforcement.
  • As Product Manager/Owner, Ajit joined Confidential after the project charter was defined and a conceptual estimate was in play. Ajit, working with all identified business teams & IT managers, created a Product Roadmap with rollout milestones. The Roadmap coordinated the delivery milestones of business functionality for the various business teams with IT & backend teams for data and code delivery. The Roadmap was finalized in collaboration with all teams, socialized across the enterprise and coordinated budgeting by all teams. The project used a collaboration product at the front end that allowed the collection of demand information to used JDA to forecast demand and leveraged SAP for fulfillment of product.   • Confidential needed a senior Business Analyst to augment their team and handle critical applications where in-house skills were inadequate. Ajit analyzed business requirements and worked with external warehouse pick system vendor to re-engineer the picking process to capture additional information required to facilitate the generation of a 3-dimensional ASN. Ajit was the BA for the project. Budget for this project was $1.3M. As a result of the project, ship times were reduced and yielded a 6% cost savings in each warehouse and 2.6% efficiency increase at each of the 4 warehouses in the US. Increased quality of pick operation with an estimated reduction of pick errors by 18%.
