  • Perform business development activities for Sleek Solutions, Inc. Currently, training on HortonWorks and Hadoop with an Oracle VM on a Unix server.
  • Perform professional development tasks to extend and add skill certifications. These include extending the PMP cert to 2018 and the PMI-ACP cert to 2020. Also, PM tool training in Clarity, Rally, TFS, and SAFe. Also, develop responses to state government RFPs including project proposals, architecture, staffing, budget, etc. SSI is a female-majority owned corporation in good standing with State of Florida.   • Confidenital Assume Agile Scrum Master Role for a first-time Agile team. The project is for development of a multinational portal for quoting business premise IT equipment and service. It is the quote phase of the Quote to Bill process. Developed on the Microsoft Platform ASP.Net, SharePoint, and TFS, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc. . The portal provides quotes with currency conversions worldwide. Assumed the Scrum Master role for the team that had been working for over a year to get Release 1.0 completed and accepted for Production. After assessing the team's Agile methods, recommended changes that enabled them to complete it and receive User Acceptance. These changes included developing User Acceptance Criteria, Test Cases, estimating, established team velocity baseline, and tracked defects and other team KPIs to gauge the team's improvement. The revised process ensures that releases are of high quality and completed on Schedule for Releases 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 on schedule under my contract. This Agile Development is now well organized, performing in a reliable manner with very high quality results. Continuous process improvements are part of the process that will keep this team performing efficiently.

Confidenital IT Quality Analysis and Six Sigma DMAIC Project Management

  • Led two process improvement cycles at State Farm to improve the Claims system data integration process. This is to eliminate the risk of corrupt data being moved into the new enterprise claims application database via the ETL process. This followed the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology for continuous process improvement.
  • Research and document current methods for Requirements and backlog management, Use Case and Test Cases, and test database preparation. Recommended improvements to reduce risk through increased coverage and reusability of DB2 test data. This also achieved a reduction in hours for the off-shore team to prepare test databases. The 700 table database contains many millions of rows and tests need to cover all the conditions specified by the requirements and process them efficiently.
  • Test cases are now reusable and manual effort for test database construction was reduced by about two thousand hours per region.

Confidenital Senior Project Manager for a Six Sigma Black Belt Project exceeds 1m to improve the process for managing New Product Development and Implementation. Developed the project plans in Primavera for 3 major manufacturing projects including removing the risk to Caterpillar caused by a plant closing and the merger of engines in development into another plant's production schedule. Assisted engineers by providing plots of the critical path for analysis and to optimize these plans.

Confidenital Co-developed the winning proposal for the Illinois MMIS Project for a replacement Claims system. Incorporated wireless communications technology in the MMIS application. MMIS is the largest electronic claims processing application in Illinois. Captured requirements for the application and the processes with KPIs for reporting and dashboards and developed the RFP.
