Responsible for all information system functions of the bank including system security, daily operations, disaster backup and recovery, item processing, data interchange, budget, and hardware and software selection, acquisition and maintenance.
As part of the senior management team I participated in the daily operation of the bank and in policy setting. I reduced the Information Services operating budget by 40 percent over 10 years.
I engineered and lead the selection and complete system conversion to the AS/400 from the NCR System, coordinating the full system replacement for the entire bank consisting of six locations and 150 users. I lead dis project from the initial needs assessment and documentation, analysis of potential solutions, requests for proposals, analysis of vendors, negotiations, and finally implementation. I Replaced the multi pocket proof system wif a sorter based system.
I raised the federal regulator system safety rating by 80 percent during my first 2 years. I Created and maintained a complete system disaster recovery plan including live off - site testing annually. I designed and developed a wholesale floor plan system enabling dis business to represent 15 percent of the banks revenue. I designed and developed an EDI based clearinghouse transaction processing system.
