During my tenure at HP, I worked in many capacities as a critical resource for multiple troubled web based projects. These projects were predominantly tasked with customizing several HP product offerings for various states including Ohio, New Jersey, South Carolina, Florida, Rhode Island and New Mexico. Not only did I provided infrastructure support in some instances, but, others with road mapping for getting projects back on track, in still others how to mitigate the risk when the project success was unattainable and lastly on some as overall project manager. In most of these endeavors multiple contracting companies were involved, either as supporting products like Business Objects CRM, or as supplementary personnel. These projects ranged in value from 100K to 100M.

• I recently spearheaded a number of cloud projects including one for Oklahoma's Department of Education. They had a need for a rapid cloud delivery project to overcome the problem the district had with potentially 6000 PCs which were using MS XP after the product support end date. The computing capacity was needed in order to provide standardized state wide testing. This project was signed in April of 2014, delivered in May of 2014 and closed out successfully in June. Prior to that, I managed a Cloud Workshop for the State of Georgia, and a Cloud Design engagement for the Management Council of Ohio Educational Computer Network MCOECN , which had over 15 semi-autonomous areas looking for the benefits of using cloud. This integrating function is not only the future of most governmental operations, but also among the most challenging..
• Before working on troubled projects and the Cloud initiatives, I provided Program Management support for a variety of Proof of Concept projects for state, federal and commercial enterprises in validating the utility of a variation of VDI desktop technology developed by HP.
• In my first project as well as occasional projects in between, I provided Program Management Support concentrating on schedule management and resource prioritization for multiple HP projects. These included the Department of Motor Vehicle projects in New Mexico and Rhode Island and the Early Learning System project in Florida. In fact, my initial role with HP was as one of first four people brought onto the New York City Account, first to scope, and then to define, and finally to be part of the management team for Phase I of New York City's Electronic Communications Transformation Program. ECTP . The ECTP program is a massive program for the City of New York upgrading their 911 systems and first responder communications encompassing one of the world's largest public safety systems. This included sole Program Scheduler responsibilities for over 26 separate projects being designed, developed and delivered by more than a dozen companies.

Infrastructure Manager

I supported the NJ MVC project as Infrastructure Manager managing the acquisition, management, deployment, and maintenance for the project including the interfaces and relationships with the Office of Information Technology for the State of New Jersey who owned the hardware assets of the project. As Infrastructure Manager for this state level project, I had responsibility for not only the ongoing management of the development infrastructure, but also the ongoing support for the production environment which was installed in a separate data center. Among the general management responsibilities was the acquisition of new hardware and middleware, asset management and system and application software upgrades. My initial role on the Florida ELIS project was as Infrastructure Manager including many of the same responsibilities as provided to South Carolina.. Shortly after starting on the project, I had to expand my role to include the role for Run Support Manager. The project itself was to provide expertise to migrate 27 different exchange environments into the DeVry primary data center as a mission critical project for DeVry University.
