TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Converted all customers off of the Confidential FEP by either converting them to Enterprise Extender or facilitating conversion to native IP
- Implemented Sysplex Distributor for DB2 and CICS based applications
- Wrote an SMF IEFU83/84/85 exit (390 Assembler) to help monitor FTP activity
- Wrote a VTAM session management exit (390 Assembler) for network security
- Wrote a VTAM directory services exit (390 Assembler) for controlling APPN searches.
- Wrote an email client (Rexx) with attachment support (390 Assembler) so that MVS batch jobs can send emails
- Converted from Confidential Supersession to Dell NC-Access
- Converted from Confidential Netview to Williams D Confidential Zen for network monitoring and automation
- Brought TCP/IP up for the first time at Experian in 1994 and shepherded the conversion from an all SNA environment to one where IP is now the primary access method.
