The backend for this application is Informix database. The Windows client and the Database talk to each other through Java Web Services which are deployed on the servers.

Due to the Trustworthy Computing initiative by Microsoft Corporation, all Shadow Applications applications that did not have a designated owner needed to be owned by a BUIT. This process was called onboarding. These applications were developed right from basic MS Access files to .NET web applications.

Cable Wireless Company in West Indies had a billing system called AMDOCS. The team from TCS was providing support to the AMDOCS billing system. Any issues with the system were logged in a Helpdesk system called Applix. Each Applix bug was also logged into Test Director for any changes that were needed to be done.

• Gather the requirements for the Applix trigger changes for the appropriate update in Test Director.

TCS provided a complete System Testing solution for Standard Life Health Care, a health insurance company based in Guildford, UK, right from the design phase and supported it till implementation and beyond. The performance testing is being done using Rational Test Studio.

Each module has its own screens and its own message formats as standardized by the SWIFT format.
