  • Analyze the forecast provided by customers. Actively communicate with Operations and Business Unit on any changes in forecast. Work closely with Ops to ensure highest level of supply continuity.
  • Assist Sales Managers and teams in all aspect of supporting the customers. Create and maintain a variety of reports (shipping, backlog, forecast, rebate). Analyze data, highlight issues and make recommendations to resolve issues.

  • Work closely with production planning team to manage the supply allocation and supply schedule. Interlock with planners in weekly basis to ensure quarterly and weekly supply allocation are sufficient to cover customer’s needs and supply schedule is on right time.
  • Monitor closely on the inventory level to make sure parts are not staged in the hub for over 90 days. Inform and ask customer to clear up the aged inventory, otherwise quarterly allocation will be affected.
  • Coordinate with engineers to make sure samples for new products are prepared and delivered on schedule for testing and pilot run. Will provide samples either from current inventory or request from manufactures. Ship the samples to designated locations by the requested dock date.

  • Work cautiously with customers on the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) agreement. Negotiate with them about the contract terms and parts to put on the agreement.   • Monitor the inventories of two product lines: Optical drives and Microsoft products. Generate weekly inventory reports and submit to OEMs (e.g. NEC, LG Electrons, MSI, etc), to make sure they have the most updated information.   • Verify customers’ names and addresses with banks. Make sure those customers’ billing and shipping information match with banks’ records to prevent any fraudulent activities.
  • Modify all the invoices as necessary. For example, fixing the shipping rate and shipping method errors created by system. If a specific part is out of stock, either cancel the backordered item, or exchange with another model, recalculate the subtotal, shipping rate and the new total, and recharge customer.
