Responsibilities:
- Under contract to Confidential to provide Sr. Project Management services for inflight projects that became stale with no movement. In 4 months I was successful in closing this list of projects with no punch list items. From that success I was asked to remain on to deploy multiple tools and network monitoring applications. Currently, I is the primary Project Manager assigned to WAN, Switching, Tapping and NTP workstreams involved in Cigna’s relocation of their secondary data center.
- My role at Cigna requires innate noledge of the operations of networks and data centers along with management of multiple internal and vendor resources.
- During my time at Cigna I is most proud of my successful completion of multiple infight complex projects. The great work of my team, vendors and carriers in the complete replacement of circuit via new fiber and newly constructed fiber ducts to Cigna’s primary data center with zero impact to production. - Under contract as a consultant for the relocation of an e-commerce preproduction and production data center, to a new facility.
- Successfully lead a 25+ person cross-functional project team that spanned the application business unit, IT/Operations, core e-commerce product developers and QA/QC department.

- Under contract as a consultant to Confidential ’s client, Weyerhaeuser International. Provided project management services to complete the transition from the service provider EDS to Confidential .

- Managed projects to update and improve Weyerhaeuser’s entire enterprise network, covering North America and Canada.

- Managed budgets for these projects with amounts ranging from between $10,000 for small and $23 Million USD for the largest international projects.
- Highlight of my work with Verizon was the complete divestiture of one of the largest pulp mills in Canada, which required that the physical site and voice/data infrastructure be segregated and sold as three separate parcels. This project was delivered on time, under budget and without disrupting the data dependencies of three other in-production environments in eastern Canada.
