Responsibilities:

  • Lead and project managed a project to set up an Confidential 365 proof of concept for the client which included all aspects of Windows 10, and office deployments utilizing SCCM, Auto Pilot, and self service office deployment advertisement through click to run installs of Office pro Plus, Email, teams, One Drive, all managed through InTune services. Proof of concept deployment was limited to 150 users, with a full design plan deploy the same solution to the rest of the users in the organization after the end of the testing period for a total of 8500 seats.
  • Provided Confidential 365 subject matter expertise, leadership and consulting services to client guide them on a full upgrade cycle of their entire workforce from Windows 7 to Windows 10, building out their Confidential 365 platform to be able to manage the entire rollout through InTune. Setting up auto enrollment of all new workstations with Azure AD advanced, while looking at a solution to further leverage Auto Pilot to deploy new systems in a zerotouch manner for their help desk services. Further responsibilities included a rollout of Office 365 pro plus, while migrating their existing messaging platform from on premise Exchange 2013 to Office 365, as well as the setup and migration of their user data to One Drive on their Office 365 tenant.

  • Lead a project involving integrating a company which was utilizing Office 365 into Atlas Air, which currently is not. By performing activities such as performing a readiness review of their environment to support office 365, and then setting up all of the necessary tools such as AADSync and ADFS etc to facilitate moving the purchased companies user accounts from their old domain to the new domain by disjoining their mailboxes, and then joining them to newly sync d accounts in the new domain so no migration activities would be required. Then set up a Skype for Business POC integrating the Office 365 Skype for business solution with their on premise Cisco Call manager solution
  • Consulted on a couple of projects including providing subject matter expertise on migrating from Good MDM to AirWatch, as well as deploying new Ironport servers in their on premise and cloud services environment for mail security.
  • Worked as the lead Office 365 Architect in strategically planning Blue Cross blue Shield (HCSC) s migration efforts from Lotus notes to Office 365, as well as the deployment of Skype for Business telephony to replace their existing Cisco deployment. Once the plan was reviewed and approved, we began executing the migration activities utilizing Binary Tree to facilitate the coexistence and migration activities. Also offered strategic planning guidance on building out their Confidential infrastructure to support their Office 365 needs, as well as supporting a Confidential centric back office initiative, while maintaining support for their growing Apple workstations and mobile solutions.
  • This initiative involved reviewing their existing JAMF Pro environment for functionality and scalability, to support their growing Mac user base, while leveraging cloud distribution points for software deployment, patch management, and greatly improving the self service solutions provided for their end users.
  • Endpoint Engineering temporary contract position responsibility for rebuilding a poorly deployed JAMF architecture, integration, and management of 120+ Macs in a Confidential based infrastructure. Reworked existing Casper and NetBoot environments. Defined standards based Mac packaging workflow for zero-touch deployment and management of the existing Mac hardware, as well as supporting future growth. Took a 12 page deployment guide being used by their help-desk staff, and reduced it to a zero touch single page deployment guide. Also built a BYOD offering to support user owned mobile devices using MobileIron.
  • Provided provided strategic planning and guidance on how to support Mac laptops and desktops in the environment, how to manage them using tools such as the Casper Suite by JAMF Software, imaging those devices using Deploy Studio, and how to manage mobile devices using Mobileiron. The focus of this was to test, build and support a zero touch deployment solution utilizing Apple s DEP (Device Enrollment Program) to simplify the deployment of new systems for users.
  • Acted as a Sr. level Office 365 SME to build out a new on premise Exchange 2013 hybrid environment for approximately 5000 users as well as helping migrate 80,000 users to Office 365. Performed all levels of work including building pre requisite systems such as ADFS, and FIM to support a multi domain migration path, as well as building out pre and post migration scripts, and helping build the overall migration strategy for velocity migrations.
