I have extensive new Product development experience on teams of 800 while leading teams of 50 team members.

  • I started out as a Healthcare Business Analyst and became a Lead Developer and Technical Leader during the first 10 years of my career. I worked in multiple areas of a business process-centric HealthCare Management Products which serve commercial and Government HealthCare sectors. I collaborated with teams of Developers, Business Analysts and Testers dispersed around the globe on multi-million dollar projects that shaped the product. To expand my horizons and support a mentoring passion, I made multiple trips to Brazil and India to train and mentor hundreds of off-shore team members. I have a full range of delivery experience: from Solutioning, Sales, new Product Development to Production Support.
  • I transitioned to a Project Manager and continued leading cross-functional projects in 2008. Currently I am leading a series of HP MetaVance Claims enhancements necessary to process Medicaid and capture additional Government business. My recent projects include SOA Integrated Services Releases, a series of complex and high risk multi-vendor projects for NASCO. I led the HP team and partnered with multiple vendors IBM, Cognizant and Perficient to deliver a SOA web service solution around Membership, Billing and Claims. I was responsible for all aspects of HP release delivery, from estimating the releases, capacity planning and Statement of Work creation to development, delivery, implementation and Production support. Our team utilized Service Oriented Architecture best practices to implement a hybrid of Rapid Iterative/Agile methodology to develop SOA Web Services in Sprints.
  • Prior to this, I led a series of Internationalization projects to allow Delta Dental and other clients to expand into countries outside of the US. As other examples of my work, I managed the HP MetaVance Production Support Level III Helpdesk for over a year. I was responsible for all client critical production projects and defects for multiple clients, built client relationships, ensured SLA compliance and client satisfaction.
  • I am the Lead Trainer on the HP Global PMP Acceleration Program. My recent session included 200 HP PMs around the world. Many of the participants became PMP certified within 3 months of our study group. My personal favorite knowledge area is Cost Management.
