Performed engineering and project management duties including:

Responsible for the development, analysis, and documentation of intricate, hydraulic and hydrology H H conveyance system models. Developed experience with storm drainage, sanitary sewers, water systems, water rights, utility relocations, roadway improvements, land development, and public agency interaction in both municipal and rural areas. Involved in submittal reviews, construction management, and project management including responsible for remaining cognizant of budgets and constructability. Specific project examples:

  • Raw Water System Technical Report: Utilized the EPA's SWMM 5 hydraulic modeling software to develop a model of the existing raw water conveyance and storage system, including over 15,000 LF of pipe, pumps, and three reservoirs. Analyzed the hydraulic capacity of the water conveyance systems. Tasked with writing and assembling the various pieces of the Technical Report and creating a PowerPoint presentation for conference technical seminars.
  • Water System Asset Inventories and CDBG Applications: Analyzed and updated existing GIS maps and data to generate water system asset inventories. Wrote the asset inventory reports and assisted in creating the CDBG application. Coordinated the effort with the Town and NMDFA staff.
  • Water Reservoir Pump Station: Produced the conceptual site plan and pump station figures in C3D.
  • Waterline Permitting: Wrote and prepared NMDOT permits to install approximately 10,000 LF of 8 waterline, open trench crossing, and jack and bore crossing.
  • Evaporative Lagoon Closure and Sludge Disposal Plan: Created and revised the evaporative lagoon water balance Excel spreadsheets and charts for submission and approval by the NMED.
  • Water System Elevated Storage Tank: Evaluated the water system submittals for compliance with NM Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction.
