Role: CIT Data Architect
- The IFC architecture team plays an important function of leading the design effort for all applications at IFC. The team itself has multiple streams that address various functions like Data, Solution, Technology and Business process architecture. My role was that of a Data architect performing various data/information architecture related activities.
- As part of the Data Architecture team, my role is to build target state architectures, blueprint roadmaps, set data architecture standards, review data models/integration patterns and ensure that they are in line with the defined standards.
- Efficient data storage for faster response times is the main objective of any review and I work with various project teams across investment operations and advisory services to recommend best practices and help in implementation as needed.
- Work with Central Enterprise Architecture group WBG wide to help them understand project impact and get any necessary approvals for project teams. This involves building various data architecture related artifacts such as data flow and impact analysis diagrams, which were carried out by me.
- Built many enterprise wide landscape diagrams across various portfolios to accelerate impact analysis processes for different projects.
- Building a corporate wide conceptual data model to represent the systems of record for various enterprise wide entities. This is necessary as a lot of re-engineering projects are underway and this will assist us in deciding the integration patterns.

Role: Data Architect Data Modeler
- Lead data architect on the project. PQIP is a project aimed at improving the quality of customer information at IFC. Built the initial conceptual, logical and physical data models based on the standard party data model. Defined the integration pattern with a leading customer data provider for certification processes.
- Worked with Informatica consultants to help build the IDQ/IDD process as a workflow tool for certification and integration with Oracle 10g for storage of the golden copy of the records.
- Currently working with the Informatica consultants on integration with the Informatica MDM tool. MDM Master Data Management tool will be used for both certifying and de-duplication of customer records.

Role: Data Architect
- Lead data architect on the project. FSRS was re-engineering of a legacy Resource Magament System. Worked with data modeler on the vendor team to help build the conceptual, logical physical data models. Reviewed the model to ensure completeness and to ensure adherence to the requirements.
- Built data flow diagrams and mapped the entities to business processes to help in impact analysis for future enhancements

Role: Data Architect
- Lead data architect on the project. IRP is a project to replace the existing client rating systems at IFC with a off the shelf product. The existing system was built in house and is out of date with the market standards, hence the upgrade.
- Defined the integration pattern and identified source systems for data needed by the product. Conducted and documented the impact analysis on various upstream and downstream systems as a result of moving to a new infrastructure.
- Worked with the vendor team to understand their data model and was involved in approving the data models and data architecture design

Role: Data Architect / Data Modeler
- Worked as a data architect with the IFC architecture group. This included analysis of all information flows and preparing an information flow map which would highlight the movement of data and information via various channels between applications.
- My role also included mapping of the business processes with the information entities that were utilized for a particular process. This effort helps us analyze the impact on entities due to a potential change in a business process.
- As part of this team, I have also been involved in coming up with a strategy for data management in ODS as there are a lot of applications dependent on this centralized data store. One of the key ideas was to expose the data via services which would help us in providing an abstraction layer, hence de-coupling the data storage from data consuming applications

Role: Data Modeler
- Lead data modeler on this project. Asset management company AMC is a wholly owned subsidiary of IFC created to serve as a private equity platform for managing third-party capital deployed in emerging markets. The existing IFC had to be enhanced to be able to manage the workflow such as creating projects, creating products etc for AMC.
- Created the conceptual, logical physical data model for this project and got it reviewed and approved by other data architects at IFC.
- Collected business requirements from users and coordinated with my offshore database team in Bangalore to get them implemented.
- Analyzed behavior of existing systems and built a similar system/structure to minimize impact due to changes. For instance, the back office accounting system being used by AMC is different from the existing system used by IFC and I created a structure so that the data received by the new system can be seamlessly integrated with other applications such as iDesk and ODS along with any other system that may require this data.

Role: Data Modeler
- The Application Support is a suite of applications that range from operational systems to a centralized data warehouse system. As these applications are heavily dependent on data to function in the desired manner, the application support teams faces a lot of data related issues.
- My job responsibility was to consult the teams and the client with issues related to databases and data warehouses and come up with solutions. As part of this role I analyzed the proposed enhancement requirements for the quarterly releases and built a data models to address the needs of the client.
- Developed database modules that were complex in nature and designed data load strategies.

Role: Database Developer / Data Modeler
- Developed and assisted in designing a layer called the Unified Measure Model which was the data-supplying layer for various consumers Reports, dashboard, charts, BAM etc and the Operational Data store of the data warehouse.
- Added/Upgraded the already existing custom reporting model to be more dynamic and highly customizable with a considerable improvement in terms of performance to generate the reports.
- Designed the entire back end processing including data modeling, data flow and developed the core part of dashboard module that is used to track the SLAs met by an agent/team/process.
- Data modeling and development of a scorecard system for this product that is used in performance based incentives for the agents/team/project.
