This included designing, developing, and executing drills on a regular basis, enabling lessons learned to be incorporated. Each site has unique characteristics that were built into the design. The time to completely cut-over a site was reduced from 10 to 1.5 hours.

Worked with the local on-site engineer to resolve issues so that base could have access. All unique situations required consideration of many factors such as base characteristics and infrastructure, personnel involved, disaster characteristics, and security requirements. Had to maintain flexibility to respond to changing situations, to adjust plans, and to keep all parties informed.
• Formed and led Network Operations Center NOC startup staff of engineers. Interviewed and hired technical personnel, ensured that they went through appropriate training and oversaw their work. Once core group was established, then subject matter experts SMEs were added to support specific needs.
• Finalized facility construction phase at Pearl Harbor NOC. Worked with multiple contractors and different scenarios every day. The server farm had to be installed quickly, in an historic building, with challenging room configuration and HVAC system.
