Title : IT Project Manager

Responsibilities :

  • Led a major project required to successfully implement a new healthcare eligibility system using new enterprise technologies for this Fortune 150 firm. This effort was required to fulfill contracts with multiple large Medicaid customers followed by an implementation of the marketplace software applications for state contracts for Medicaid. This project relied on a vendor based solution from a world wide provider in enterprise solutions.
  • A significant factor in the success of this implementation was the improvement of communications between the key stakeholders in the executive, business operations area, development, and testing. This was accomplished by holding regular project status meetings and providing the entire team with project status reports, risks and issues logs, test plans and implementation plans.
  • The eligibility project required mapping of HIPAA 834 flat files from the customer to the XML file format from the input source to the UMV Unified Member View product. Additional file transfers were required for the legacy AMISYS system.   • Implemented and integrated a vendor provided solution for workflow and Business Intelligence to monitor internal operations progress and issues. A global vendor provided solution for data warehousing CMOD was used for this effort. Using my technical background and experience I was able to detect issues with the vendor software during extensive pre-implementation testing. These issues were resolved and the product was successfully implemented.
