  • Developed A SQL lab through which students go through hundreds of exercises in SQL up until they become real experts in the language and the application of the language in business transactions and data retrieval.
  • Developed a data warehouse lab in which students build a relational data warehouse. They design and build six dimension tables and one fact table. They work on type I and type II dimensions and they decide what designations make sense and why. The students also make decisions on housekeeping columns, surrogate keys, table and column extended properties, null values, entity and referential integrity constraints, indexing strategies, and aggregate tables.
  • Developed an Extraction Transformation and Loading Lab through SQL Server Integration Services SSIS in which students build several ETL packages integrating data from multiple heterogeneous data sources.
  • Developed an OLAP lab in which students build their own OLAP cube with a multitude of dimensions and measures.
  • Developed a data mining lab in which students build a clustering mining model, a decision trees mining model, and a Naive Bayes mining model and they compare the performance of each model.
  • Developed a Business Analytics Laboratory for the students to work on Multidimensional Expressions language MDX and set up the whole range of technologies such as the OLAP cubes, the XML for Analysis XMLA , ASP.Net, C , and others that enables decision makers to work on MDX expressions remotely on the web.
  • Developed XML Simulation Lab for the students to work on exchange of data among corporations using the web. Simulation includes the transformation of relational data to hierarchical formats and back again and automatic updates of back-end databases. Some of the technologies used include MS SQL 2000, XML, and ASP.NET.
  • Developed Enterprise Digital Dashboard Laboratory for the Strategic Information Systems Management class of the Lally School curriculum.
  • Deployed laboratory for the Information Systems for Managers class using SQL 2000 Server, SQL 2000 Analysis services, OLAP, Data Warehousing, and Data Mining.
