Responsibilities:
- Responsibility includes managing both internal and external (3rd party vendors) technical and functional teams on large ERP and FP&A reporting implementations. These teams comprise of around 20-30 team members across multiple locations and functional groups.
- Implemented a finance and accounting ERP reporting solution for a large capital markets trading client. The new cloud ERP reporting solution enabled the client to consistently manage accounting, finance and trading applications across multiple locations and business units. Worked with functional and IT leaders to implement new operating models and processes to improve service to internal customers and external clients.
- Implementing an Organizational and process design assessment for a mid-size real estate client. This included providing a strategic road-map for the client's IT, Finance, and Procurement functions, which resulted in a cost savings of over $2MM per year. This initiative also included in selecting third party vendors and performing site selection for a new shared services center.
- Led a global Merger Program focused on Sales & Financial Reporting (Both the strategy and execution) for a Pharmaceutical /Medical device manufacturing firm. This program was responsible to make sure that the financial planning team and sales representatives have the clear direction, necessary tools, and the motivation to conduct their sales & reporting functions on day one of the merger.
- Implemented an 8-month long HRIS Workday Solution at Tribune Publishing Company. Was responsible for managing internal resources and integrating Workday modules in the area of Payroll, recruiting, benefits, training, and performance management. These modules included over 90 integration points with existing and new integration partners and vendors. This program was being in the middle of the divestiture between Tribune Publishing and Tribune Media and included a TSA (transition services agreement) covering finance, HR, and IT functions encompassing 500 employees and $15MM in annual spend.
- Worked with the CTA business stakeholders in implementing a $5MM workforce management/HRIS system. My responsibility was to transition a team of 20 new associates as part of a new managed services agreement. I managed to ensure proper integration and change management of the new organization. This transition resulted in projected annualized savings of $2MM at the CTA.
- Defined the Overall Program Work Plan implementation for several releases / products (deliverables, dependencies, assumptions, etc.) Formulated client-binding documents such as Statement of Work, Contract, Change Requests, etc.
