Responsibilities:
- Project/Portfolio System Administration: Ensures system and users are appropriately maintained and configured across multiple units within the organization.
- Applies technical expertise to implement key initiatives related to Project/Portfolio System.
- Gains understanding of the databases and data mart structures.
- Helps to ensure data integrity. Helps to ensure peak system performance.
- Implements software upgrades for the system.
- Provide "help desk" support to internal users with system questions. Recommends solutions in response to customer questions.
- Analyzes incidents related to the system/application to identify problem area(s). Works closely with the application vendor's product support team to identify and implement solutions
- Designs, develops, tests, and maintains various reports using SQL driven application table port lets and Business Objects.
- Provides End user training on system to include preparing training materials and conducting demonstrations to support proper use and administration of the system.
- Ensures Project/Portfolio Management system integrity by analyzing data within the application and following up on data errors, out of date data, and variances outside the target range.
- Facilitates activities with end users/stakeholders to support the Portfolio Management Activities and Governance processes.
- May work with key stakeholders to develop Portfolio/Project Governance policies and procedures.
- Generate routine and ad - hoc Plan view reports.
- Develops metrics.
- Create Dashboards and Publish reports to the Plan view Analytics & Reporting Portal.
- Perform other related duties as required.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- IT work experience with an emphasis in systems support, administration, configuration, etc.
- Experience supporting, configuring, and administering a project and portfolio management system comparable to Plan view Project and Portfolio Management Enterprise Suite.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
