Motorcycle wheel design, analysis and optimization
Designed two different wheels for the MotoGP competition in CATIA. Made the mesh model using HyperMesh and conducted several official static and dynamic tests on them using Abaqus. Extracted valuable conclusions for both models with two different materials.
Simulation of a variable torque distribution between wheels on a rear-wheel drive vehicle
A Formula Student model was developed in Simulink, based on an extended bicycle model. An electronic control was designed to implement a differential brake system, using the motors reducing the understeer.
The team project consisted in designing, building, testing and racing an electric Formula style race car.
