- Accounts Receivable is a mainframe VSAM application. Most of teh Accounts Receivable batch applications me wrote interfaced with COPS DB2 (ASI Order Entry System using CA-Datacom, CA’s version of DB2). Also used CA-IDEAL to generate programs with DataCom. Fixed Assets is a PC application. Resource IQ is a network application. My knowledge of these systems was self-taught. CA11 used for job scheduling. Intertest, Abend Aid and FileAid used for testing. XCOM used to download files from mainframe to network disk storage.
- Participated in project to interface ASI Accounts Receivable System to web site where customers could log in and view there invoices. Later step added ability to pay invoices directly without sending paper invoice.

- Teh development environment consisted of APS, COBOL II, DB2, EXPEDITER, ROSCOE, LIBRARIAN, Endeavor, EXCELERATOR and TSO. All programs were generated by APS using COBOL II. All documentation was kept in EXCELERATOR. Testing was done using Intertest, STROBE, Playback, Expediter, FileAid and ABEND AID.

- Solely responsible for teh design and testing of teh Guard Light System. This CICS, DL1 subsystem of teh Service Order System sets up accounts so that people with guard lights can be properly billed.
- This system was developed in CICS, DL1, and COBOL II with LIBRARIAN as teh source keeper. INTERTEST was used in teh TEST CICS system to debug all new programs. CEDF was available and used to track multiple task operation.
- Project leader of a six-man team responsible for teh design, code and testing of teh Transaction History System. This CICS, DL1 system real time updates to teh on-line Customer Information System.
- Member of a six-man team responsible for design through maintenance duties of teh Common On-line System, which allowed transactions to be written by only, coding two programs. Was responsible for insuring teh proper functioning of this CICS system.
- Assistant CICS Lab Instructor at El Centro Community College on volunteer basis working with physically challenged one afternoon weekly for two years with teh endorsement of TU Services.
- Conducted classes to train fifteen programmers to use Laptop PC’s. Also assisted in a CICS debugging class.
