The User Interface UI Team has strategic ownership for the look and feel and usability as well as functional design and consistency of all custom user interfaces for GHS. I personally function as the SME for Web Portal on the Alaska, California and Montana projects as well as backup support SME for New Hampshire. My team has responsibility for UI design, prototyping and the governance of user interface standards and best practices supporting all active Health Enterprise MMIS and OS DDI projects, for proposals, business development and to support ongoing maintenance of the New Hampshire MMIS. This includes all phases of California MMIS, North Dakota MMIS, Montana MMIS, North Dakota OS and Montana OS . My team has also had a consulting role on the Alaska MMIS project for UI design, prototyping and the governance of user interface standards and best practices. As I was the UI designer for Alaska prior to assuming this role, Alaska support will also be included under my current team's domain. Online help content creation for all Health Enterprise MMIS and OS DDI projects also falls under the UI team as well as the security area functional requirements including the RPM and security within the MMIS portal, AVR system, Cognos, EDMS and integration to COTs for Health Enterprise MMIS. The UI team directly supports New Hampshire and Montana and consults on California, North Dakota and Alaska. The UI team maintains the responsibility for supporting screenshot mockups for other design concepts for new products and for OS and for supporting the MMIS sales demo region including support for oral presentations for Enterprise bids. This includes making menu modifications to the demo environment to link to COTs products such as Med Compass and Cognos. This responsibility will continue in the standup of the next generation demo environment being planned.

- I have been involved in the re-engineering design of the Xerox total web-based solution for the Medicaid claims payment system. My involvement has been in the development and maintenance of the HTML Dreamweaver prototype used by the off-shore development team to create the live code. This involves both creating use cases and user interface specifications for the common and global components as well as interpreting the design requirements from the functional BAs for each of the specific components such as provider specifications, member/recipient specifications, claims entry, financial TPL, A/P, A/R, Budget Inquiry, etc , contact management, and service authorization. After spending 4 years on the core product, I moved to the Alaska contract as the UI team lead architect. Was also instrumental in defining the Provider Enrollment Web Portal interim solution for Alaska, designing the communications site for Alaska and converting the hundreds of documents migrated from the previous vendor FAS web site to a Xerox deployed version. I also developed a prototype demo in Flash, for an intra-divisional competition. My division's submission was for a new Long Term Care LTC product, by which, my division won the competition.
