- LW1 Insert your desired job title /profession right after your contact heading, centered and bolded. The first thing the hiring gatekeeper at any company will have to do is figure out is what position each candidate is applying for. If you're applying for a specific position at a specific company, put the exact title of the position you are applying for. If you're posting your resume on a job board, use a term that shows the breadth of positions you might be applying for.
- LW2 I notice you capitalized certain keywords skills throughout resume. I don't recommend capitalizing words merely to help them stand out it causes inconsistencies. Instead, just use the general rules for capitalization when writing your resume.
- LW3 Just recommending an alternate adjective here.
- LW4 Don't list your responsibilities in A. B. C. order, this results in a long summary of job duties. Instead, break into sentences and describe them in a manner as being achieved or accomplished.
- Relocate some of the key highlights as bullets. This helps break up the document visually, and also helps the resume sustain itself whether it's being quickly skimmed or thoroughly reviewed.
- LW5 Maximize space by typing text from left to right margins only indent your bulleted lists .
- LW6 Avoid having multiple / various layouts and font styles. This actually makes your resume much more difficult to navigate. Keep layout and formatting more uniform.
- LW7 I would consider removing all articles the, a, an throughout document. They are not necessary in resumes. It is considered a telegraphic or tight writing style, meant to screen out useless words in order to draw attention to the remaining ones.
- LW8 New heading here for listing older engagements.
