I do not expect for your company to cover any relocation expense, for I have been planning this for some time.
Thirty years experience as a Program Manager, architecture specialist, software engineer, programmer, and project leader working in a variety of industries including Engineering, Public Utilities, Public Education, City Government, Networking Hardware, and Microsoft Networking Software. As an Architecture Specialist with UNISYS Corp., I was working with customers to install an E-commerce application using a UNISYS software package.
Recently as a program Manager for Kansas City Kansas School District and Help Desk manager, I have been involved in maintaining current applications as well as designing new ones. I Support 2 production / 2 test oracle databases, using a SQL query language to create on demand reports. I have written code in the C programming language, 20 years with mainframe COBOL. Currently I am writing in a language LINC created by UNISYS Corp. It is a front-end language that converts the code to COBOL.
I configure and install dual core servers and a SAN system for the Oracle database systems. Install the Microsoft OS ,when required, and install and configure IIS systems.
Additional duties included Help desk manager, that provides support for the entire district.
I have thirty-three years in the Information Technology field, started as a computer operator, programmer, systems consulting and now into management of the finance, human resource, system, and payroll servers plus the help desk.
