Program Manager

Responsible for coordinating and overseeing all program efforts and activities, including:

  • Scope
  • Schedule
  • Cost / Budget
  • Facilitate all communication s with key stakeholders and executive management
  • Manage the entire upfront planning process, such as the clarification of objectives, and guidance toward the achievement of project goals for aerospace and defense actuators and ball screw programs
  • Key Point of Contact POC with the customer and company teams
  • Manage, coordinate and schedule all aspects of the project life cycle, including proposal, design, manufacture, build and project closure
  • Assess the likely duration and complexity of a project and anticipate the equipment, materials, personnel, time, and resource needs that will be required
  • Create and manage program / project timeline s , as appropriate
  • Develop and implement communication standards to ensure all matters relating to a project's status is accurately and appropriately disseminated to the customer, project team members, and management
  • Confer with management to resolve open issues, problems or irregularities uncovered throughout the project development process and updates reports as necessary
  • Work cooperatively with internal engineering, cost estimating, contract administration, etc. personnel to update, review, or make recommendations on orders and cost estimates paying close attention to schedule and cost
  • Manage outside vendor relationships and sub-contractors
  • Ensure the accuracy of customer invoices and vendor progress billings


Program Management, Program Specialist

  • Leads / participates in all aspects of the integration of Program Management processes and procedures
  • Responsible for the overall management of the project's triple constraints: Scope, Schedule, and Cost
  • Experience utilizing Agile principles and Waterfall processes vs. traditional project management methodologies
  • Study includes merging Agile and Waterfall Methodologies- discovering how Agile can be successfully integrated into existing Waterfall Methodologies
  • Life Cycle Management LCM - Leads Life Cycle Administrators in the collection of Life Cycle Review artifacts and in the population and maintenance of LCM databases
  • Develops, maintains and ensures accuracy of the Integrated Master Plan IMP and Integrated Master Schedule IMS for the programs
  • Interacts with Subject Matter Experts SME to organize the overall execution of program tasks
  • Ensures the end product, service, or result adheres to quality standards
  • Leads the establishment of project plans and ensures plans are implemented within budget constraints and Earned Value Management EVM tools, in coordination with Program Managers and Technical staff
  • Develops reports and methods for reporting and tracking progress to contract deliverables
  • Creates and maintains action item databases and Risk and Opportunity Management Plans ROMP , including updating Risk Registers
  • Leads in the development of the Statement of Work SOW language included in the work directives
  • Initiates development of Work Breakdown Structures WBS with key team members, including work package creation and description of project tasks
  • Participates in proposal preparation, and collecting and analyzing data to support fact-finding and negotiations with customers
  • Communicates valuable program data to key stakeholders, including Cost Performance Reports CPR
  • Accountability to meet and exceed company procurement, sales, and production goals
