- Was part of the contingency staff of the SCA and assigned a line project that involved the reconstruction of an existing courthouse that was to be reconstructed into a school. In addition to the demolition and renovation phases, two floors were to be added on to the structure. This was considered an extremely difficult project due to the schedule and location of the building. I was instrumental in the design construction of the building. There were many existing problems that were not addressed, I was able to find solutions to these complications, and have the plans and specifications amended before the actual constructions began.
- NYC Housing located in Far Rockaway consisted of a total rehab of the existing Fascia of all the 23 buildings. The new lobbies were to be extensions of the buildings. I changed the configuration of the piles and redesigned the pile caps saving the company money as well as time of construction.

- My ability to bring jobs in on time lead Matassa Construction to seek me out to do the rehab of the dormitories at C W Post University. This was necessary can do project governed by severe time constraints. Upon the graduation of the forth year attendees through the start of orientation for the incoming students was a definitive date for the completion of the project. Time was of the essence. Demolished the entire interior of all ten buildings, this was accomplished by way of a twenty-four hour schedule and was completed in one week. Due to the new fire constraints, the buildings had to be brought up to specifications demanded by the State of NY. I developed a schedule where by multiple trades could work at the same time and brought the buildings up to the NY State codes. Since this was almost a full gut rehab, I redesigned the bathroom and laundry room to meet all ADA codes.
- Did a complete conversion of twenty bathrooms laundry rooms and all dormitory rooms in each of the buildings. Installed all new electrical requirements to meet the needs of the students and their equipment as well as up grading the wiring of the building it self. As the Sr. Project manager for JCH Delta one of their major contracts was with Suffolk Country and the town of Centereach to construct a futuristic Municipal Library. The budget was 10 M on this public work project. This was in the NY Times It was a steel frame, concrete and block constructed building. Found discrepancy's in the construction methods and had to have them altered. Scheduling of the four constructed additions was of particular importance since the Library growth was remarkable and the main building had to be kept open to the public. Since being brought aboard by Delta Construction who was having an extremely difficult times with the directors and agent from the state to over see the project I was able to harmonize the situation between the two parties and have them extend an additional six months at no penalties' to JCH Delta's contract. This alone could have accumulated to a very large sum.

- At Long Island Jewish Hospital the company held a contract to renovate four steel, brick and block buildings as well as the construction of a ground up two stories lobby that connected all the other structures. It was of particular importance for the trades to work well with and along side the doctors and the staff especially since this area was considered the psychiatric section of the hospital. At days end the entire staff revisited all the sections of the project to oversee that nothing left behind that could be used to cause any harm. I also reconstructed the laboratories and offices that were on the lower levels. In addition to the above, constructed a major loading dock and added four additional bays. A major excavation was needed and retaining walls with steel tiebacks were used to maintain the structural integrity of the walls. This also was a demanding project since the loading docks could not be shut down to interfere with the daily deliveries. I oversaw Project managers, Superintendents, and Sub-contractors. I maintained a relationship and acted as Liaison between the Hospital Directors, Doctors, General Contractors, Architects and Engineers.
- The total budget was estimated to be 29 M. Scheduling as well as safety was of primary concern. Adhering to the need and requirement of the hospital staff was of extreme importance. The momentary shuffling around of crews so as not to loose time and money was a continuous surgical problem.
- A second hospital project was a 30 M. Generator plant and kitchen facilities for Pilgrim State Hospital located in central Suffolk Country NY. Renovated and updated the hospital to the requirements that were set forth by the State of NY, and all the federal agency that were involved, plus the requirements set forth by the hospital. Resurrected two of four sixteen story buildings. The other two buildings that were on the grounds were to be completed in phase two. Lear McGovern acted as the owner's Representatives. To under score the difficulty of this project was the need for security. All the personnel working on this project were locked in to a sizable secure area to prevent the patient population attacking or inflicting any diseases on the worker. Just getting materials to the project was a major episode. I am sure that anyone within the construction industry is well aware that rehab is considerable more demanding and difficult than new construction. It requires you to think on your feet, there are no problems just solutions. I coordinated all the construction activities between Lear McGovern, all the sub contractors, trades as well as all the applicable municipal agencies. The demands from all these overseers were to say expediential. The tolerations governing each and everything bit of construction were measured by fractions. Similar with all the items that were used on the project and the equipment that was brought into the project were checked and rechecked. Code compliance was of extreme importance. Needles to say each and every organization attached to this project had there own governing codes.
