My knowledge and experience with customer and account data, business services, data services and x-services was a key factor in designing and developing COBOL II, CICS, DB2 and DATACOM APIs. These APIs helped reconcile transactions, positions and customer account data between Schwab's mainframe system and Strategic Trading systems.

As a Technical Lead, developed and executed a test plan of the Order Handling Fee for Strategic Trading accounts. The charges were applied to those trades/orders considered equity trades. All securities treated as equities are subject to this fee. The fee was applied to Buy, Sell and Sell Short Orders. There were a number of special considerations to test for such as GTC orders, orders with overridden commissions, day only orders, multiple fills all in one day , multiple fills across more than one day and aggregation combining all orders executed for one stock on the same side of the market into one combined order for commission calculation purposes . Testing was executed through broker/dealer CICS screens and on web technology executing Schwab.com.
