• Design and develop an award winning major Web application for the Supplemental Insurance Industry allowing people to obtain insurance quotes as well as to completely fill out an application. The software was developed using C, ASP.NET, XML, SQL, .NET Webservices, JavaScript and HTML and took several years to design, develop and implement. I was involved in virtually every aspect of the development process from beginning to implementation then to support and later to major enhancements. The team consisted of over 15 developers and lasted five years and is a major success.
• Design and develop an award winning from Microsoft Offline version of the insurance application. This was developed using C, WPF, XAML and SQL. This software is one of the largest applications using this new technology.

• Handled the initial internal deployments of the Web application to Production.
• Researched and implemented several Social Communication technologies to resolve communication challenges presented by having such a large development staff. These technologies included Wiki, Blog, Forum, video screen captures and podcasts.

• Designed and developed large-scale client/server application software for an RF-based asset control system using VC, MFC, COM and VB for use on a Win2K platform. I inherited a project that was over-budget and severely late and was responsible for identifying and solving major deficiencies/design flaws and getting the project completed.
