Description	PNC Bank uses Captiva system to process different kind of forms that are received from various sources like fax, scan module or file share import. Documents are then routed to appropriate modules according to the Doctype recognized from barcode, data is extracted from image or keyed by operator and then image is exported to repository IBM Content Manager and data to DB Oracle/DB2/MS SQL Server 2005/MySQL . DLL is used in index module to provide flexibility of validation.
Role	Onsite Imaging Application Lead
Responsibilities	Captiva InputAccel and Dispatcher product installation and patches. Captiva InputAccel Server Activation, licensing. IA Client installation on Process Agents. Planning and setting up Module Services active based on the Module CPU utilization across all agents. Captiva InputAccel Process creation which comprises of : Document processing from scanner as well as folder located in network share. Process does image cleaning tasks like noise removal, deskew, black overscan removal and deletion of blank pages. Documents are classified or identified based on barcodes placed on separator sheets Database lookup is also a part of the process. Depending on database lookup, process allows index users to modify metadata or delete/rescan documents. Indexing DLL is used for validation during user indexing. This DLL connects to database during indexing and validates data modified by index users. Extracted metadata and images are exported to backend repository Filenet Content Manager System for future reference. Statistics like scan details, indexing details, source of document is captured from the process. These statistics are exported to database for reporting and chargeback purposes from licensing perspective. Once the documents are exported, batch will be set for archive. Batches are deleted after pre-defined number of days. Captiva Process Installation and Module instance configuration. Modify the existing Document Capture Process IPP for any enhancement required or to fix any issue that were faced during production. Carry out Functional and Integration testing and assist system users with user testing. Provide Application System Maintenance and Enhancements for Captiva InputAccel 5.3 SP4/6.5. Setup and Support Silas Reveille Monitoring Application to monitor Document Capture Module Services. This will take care of alerting the team via pages/email and also restarting the module services. Once an alert is received, the document capture batches jobs needs to be checked to make sure there is no failed batches jobs . Batches jobs need to be reprocessed/rescanned in case of any failure. Generate monthly report on the quantity of image captured under each line of business from Microsoft SQL Server 2005. This report needs to be sent to the Business owners. Setup, Install and Configuration of Captiva 6.5. Process Conversion to newer version considering MDF changes. Reveille 6.5 Installation and setup for Captiva InputAccel 6.5 Leading and Supervising Captiva/Content ManagerFileNet Team.
