• Remote/Unmanned testing design and implementation for Layers 1 through 7. True end-to-end global testing of all levels of communications infrastructure. Operations Tier II and Tier III Level support for trouble escalation. I have worked with many countries to quickly trouble-shoot and isolate and/or escalate communications problems. Redesigning voice/data network capacity and CPE connectivity. Voice/Data Network redundancy for high availability applications. Grooming of OCX, DS3, T3, T1, E1 voice/data networks.

Consulting:

• Passive Optical Network redundancy and high availability designs. Automating complicated testing of data networks via test tool scripting to baseline and standardize all results. Automating NOC/NCC testing from centralized locations via remotely activated equipment, BPA and scripting. Automating testing to increase ROI and minimize truck rolls using automated DWDM Switching and NX1 hot standby field equipment in PON installations. . Lights-out data Centers with automated Layer 1 and/or direct light switching with unlimited light speeds over 100 Gigabit.

Technical Sales Support:

• Technical Sales Support in the pre-sales/post sales phases. VOIP and Wireless 802.x Phone installations. Supporting sales, from an engineering organization, preparing presentations for customers, including Return on Investment calculations ROI . Some of my added duties included attending High Level customer meetings as an engineering expert. This was done in person or via Video Conference, worldwide with Sales, to provide technical engineering support and problem resolutions. Sales support for any telecom, network, COOP, or software.

Video Conferencing:

• I am a highly Skilled Professional Video Conference engineering, maintenance, and Installation/Setup of Tandberg, Avaya, VCON / Emblaze, Room Systems / ISDN, Desktop and Universal Collaboration Multi-vendor Integration. Integrated and installed Video Conference Desktop system across four time zones for NOAA. This also integrated Codian/Tandberg/Polycom video conference equipment using IP and ISDN into an any-to-any system. Highly skill in integrating Video and Telephone, VoIP Desktop Conferencing into a Unified Communications and Collaboration package.

Corporate Management:

• Government markets engineering manager, high availability and high security, rapid deployment of global communications circuits including US Presidential trips, Social Security Administration, NOAA, NASA, FBI, Coast Guard, Navy, and Army. Functioned as the Team Leader responsible for an emergency rapid deployment of wireless data communication for the police/fire/emergency of New York at the World Trade Center and the 21st street command center commencing on September 12, 2001.

Emergency Communication:

• Last mile communications over any required medium. Microwave radio network, Mobile emergency Satellite hardware, and deployments engineering for government agencies such as NOAA and FEMA. . WiFi, WIMAX, Satellite communications, and Short-range laser links, to name a few. Also a seamless integration into a usable communications path. First responder of on-the-fly network deployments in hostile environments such as tornado or hurricane devastation.

• Voice Network Diversity engineering for MCI Government Networks. Involving DCS connections and re-grooming networks with minimum customer impact.
• Due diligence and Engineered FAA contract with a required reliability of 99.9995 as required by the contract and delivered a proven 99.9999 reliability over the 5 year contract. • Developed International Deployment for FTS-2000- FTS-200X government contracts. Rapid delivery/backfill warehouse procedures, saving MCI 253K annually in-lost equipment and re-shipping errors.
