Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

  • Currently managing multiple infrastructure projects in support of new high availability web center HAWC . Project scope includes coordination of server and network builds in support of new application deploys to HAWC.

Midrange Design and Build Implementation Engineer/Infrastructure Project Manager

  • Managed the procurement and implementation of a hardware refresh and network build out across multiple datacenters located in New York and Pennsylvania. Project scope included installation of new high speed 10-Gigabit Ethernet 10GBASE-T networks, used to broadcast Stock Exchange data to hundreds of end users within Merrill Lynch. Along with the network upgrade, over three hundred high performance IBM 3650 M3 servers were deployed to deliver state-of-the art, fully redundant, high availability computing power. The implementation of this project allowed the Market Data Services organization to implement their new strategic platform and to establish a framework for the Market Data component of the 2012 New Bank transformation of Confidential.
  • Responsibility for management of BAU infrastructure projects for multiple lines of business GWIM, FICC, GMOT under the Global Markets and Research domain. These projects range from one to six months in duration and include responsibility for deployment of hardware, network, storage, server builds and coordination of turnover to Global Operational support groups.

  • Completed an analysis and inventory of server hardware and web applications currently residing in the old e-Biz DMZ environment. Developed a remediation plan, timeline, budget and roadmap for:
  • the decommission of all server hardware currently residing in the old DMZ which includes both Charlotte and Broomfield data centers ,
  • the migration of all web sites currently running on the old DMZ hardware,

  • Responsible for coordination of all provisioning of Virtual Servers across all Merrill Lynch Lines of Business involved in the ML- Data Center Integration program. Provisioning activity includes all migrations from strategic ML Data Centers to Bank of America Tier-1 Data Centers.

  • Responsible for pilot projects and rollout of new CHP platform for server virtualization. Currently supporting CHP migration projects at Chandler, AZ with plans to expand activity to include both Richmond and Kansas City sites.
