Created a full set of UML diagrams including Class, Component, Object Interaction, Deployment and State diagrams using Rational Rose.
• As the project manager, managed the effort to reengineer Performance Calculation systems into state of the art C .Net applications. These projects were scheduled to last 18 months with a budget exceeding 1.5 million dollars. Worked closely with the users to define and document all business requirements. Wrote the functional specifications and design documents. Established the project roster and produced the project schedule by negotiating the work breakdown schedule with the technical team and releases with stakeholders. Track and report status using the Earned Value method of schedule tracking. Managed all risks and issues. Performed primary QA role due to lack of QA resources. Produced implementation plan and wrote the user manual, trained users. Act as primary production support contact. Used the Microsoft Suite of products including Project for the project schedule, Word for documenting all business and functional requirements, Excel for Risk Logs and Earned Value tracking, Visio for diagrams and Rational ClearQuest for issues/defect tracking. • As the Process Quality Assurance Representative for the division implemented an existing bank-wide software development lifecycle SDLC process based on the Capability Maturity Model. Brought the development group to CMM level 2 compliance. Performed process audits and reviews, mentored the developers. Prepared materials for management and stakeholder project reviews.

As the lead architect directed the work of 35 software developers in four project teams, reengineer 45 security trading systems and provide support to approximately 150 traders in the securities division. This was a 27 month project with a budget in excess of 10 million dollars. Assess business needs, document business and technical requirements, create development plans and enterprise component architectures, bring implementations to fruition, and test new software/systems. Established PMI based software development process and procedures where none had existed. Lead the effort to reengineer APT trading systems into state of the art Java J2EE applications using new trends and industry standards such as UML programming, Design Patterns, Design-By-Contract, and Earned Value strategies to the department.
