• ROI: While working in a partnership with a PC hardware manufacturer my project teams created and launched a product line where I acted as product manager and project manager. Over the course of its five year life that product sold over 65MM in licenses when the budget to develop it was under 4MM.
• Innovation: One project resulted in five 5 patent information submittals from the project team. This is the first step for patent applications at LANDesk Two 2 applications were formally filed with the patent office. On another project I submitted four 4 patent information forms personally around mobile device security. Two 2 applications were formally filed with the patent office.
• Methodologies: I used these methodologies at various times for project management: Extreme Programming XP , Agile and Scrum. Lean initiatives were driven by using Kanban methods. • Technologies: My project teams created a mobile device management product through a main server connection to Exchange Active Sync as well as through a third-party agent and cloud services that we created, APNS and C2DM. • Business benefits from Project Management: I was hired to manage projects but soon discovered the business had accumulated a six-figure backlog of project debt. In the first six months I implemented project management processes that repositioned the company to deliver those past due projects, collect the consulting fees and triple its business volume in the next year and sustain that pace the following year.
