  • Managed an agile systems development area for a business process management system BPMS . As part of this assignment I developed a method for agile systems development. It includes deliverables, deliverable content with timing as well as, examples of the key deliverables. This was done through extensions to a COTS product.

Enterprise Data Architect and Program/Project Manager

  • Managed the year 2000 conversion program of retail store applications approximately 600 programs . This program was seven weeks behind schedule when I was re-assigned to this effort. The program came in on time.
  • Provided MDM lead services in developing a strategic data and systems architecture that spanned the entire enterprise as well as all domains. This information model facilitated the management of the year 2000 conversion.

  • Brought into client to lead project that was six months behind schedule. Reorganized staff, reset priorities, and managed effort. Improved project schedule by 22 weeks and within budget. Staff included 106 Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and IT personnel.
  • Led initiative to implement supplier site direct access to engineering system through a high speed network. This effort had failed four times previously. The project was completed successfully within 6 months.
  • Led initiative to implement rapid application development in an environment accustomed to large poorly delivered systems. Conducting the overall project strategy/plan and selecting key personnel from the business as well as, IT side were instrumental to our success.
  • Led initiative that provided joint venture access to key engineering applications and web sites. Security, network, language, and export compliance were keys to the success of this project. Applications provided included web based, fat clients and mainframe applications.
