• I became the first IT Manager in a small medical device manufacturing company specializing in foot care, prosthetic interfaces and skin care. I worked with the leadership to develop key performance indicators KPIs to act as a nexus of the information collection. It was critical that the weekly KPIs were reported within a day of closing. The process was so successful it is still being used today. I was tasked with investigating and implementing a fully integrated in-house ERP system. This system provided the infrastructure to accommodate the company's growth from 10m to 20m in less than three years.
• Silipos was sold to a large multi-national corporation in 2000. I was part of the management team that oversaw the US operations. I developed a wide area network plan that spanned 7 locations in North America, Europe and Australia. I executed a common IP strategy, integrated Windows Active directory into daily operations and ensured the network security through Cisco IOS devices. This more efficient design of T1 and E1s saved the corporation 840,000 over 3 years.
• In 2004 Silipos was acquired by PC group formerly Langer, Inc . The corporation needed a centralized IT infrastructure and management. I became the Corporate Director of Information Systems for seven locations globally and eight staff members. I actively managed 14 key vendors for second level support.
