  • Designed and developed Vision, a web-based tool for management of High Availability Radius Proxy HARP Servers used for authentication of Wireless data WAP sessions. This tool will be used by a major telecom company in Japan to manage the hundreds of HARPs deployed all over Japan. This tool was developed in Java using JBuilder and consists of servlets and applets. The data is stored in XML format files and validated using DTDs. Xerces is used to parse the XML documents in Java and Xalan is used to transform the XML documents into HTML and plain text files using XSLT. The database structure was designed using ERwin and S-Designer. The product registration internet web site was developed using Perl and CGI scripts and the desktop Client front end was developed in Visual Basic 4.0 - 32 bit and Crystal Reports was used for reporting. Stored procedures, written in PL/SQL, were used to process data and SQL Loader was used to load the raw data. Rational Rose was used for designing documentation.
