  • Subset Tool : This project is indented to develop a new utility, which will be used to create the testing environment and extract data from production and it will allow data migration from one version to another version. This will be used by testing team and business analyst for testing. Subset tool will expedite the testing process.
  • Business Rules Extraction : As a part of new development, several project screens will be moving from RPG and Jwalk into Java and the new user interface. To complete this transition the business rules from the existing path page programs need to be extracted and written into an English statement for the java team to use during the creation of the new screens in the UI.

  • Configurable Printing Solution CPS : Configurable Printing Solution CPS in E-CIS allows you to print customized bills and service orders based on past transaction data. As compared to the previous Bill Printing process, which was cumbersome to configure, CPS provides the flexibility to select the fields and type of data to be included in bills and service orders.
  • For example, the electricity bills generated for XYZ Electricals by a non-configurable E-CIS billing system would only include predetermined fields such as Transaction ID, Customer First Name, Customer Last Name, Amount In previous Bill, Amount in Current bill, Previous balance if any .

This occurs after ESANDA Auto finance division of ANZ is merged with ANZ. The credit provider details and related text changes are soft coded, which were previously hard coded in the program.   • Description: The objective of this design is to move all Business application decision from the external CDM Credit Design management system back onto the ELS system. As a first step no significant changes will be made to the actual decision strategies, but once it has been migrated the opportunity will exist to more easily change these strategies and bring them into line with the other Esanda portfolios. The three main functions that CDM perform on Esanda's behalf are:

It was chosen not to use the existing ELS scorecard framework because it is not considered flexible enough to be easily changed in the future. It may even eventuate that the existing Individual scorecards will be migrated to the new scorecard framework developed as part of this project.

  • Description: The objective of this project was to introducing a new framework to the existing lending system to triggering the business rules dynamically by removing the hard coded messages and obsolete messages from the system.
  • From business prospective, the objective was to replace the AST Approved Subject to reason codes, referred and decline policy rules with refined AST Approved Subject to reason codes, referred and decline policy rules in order to meet the objective of increasing the auto approval rate for consumer motor vehicles-CMV from 29 to approximately 47 and Small Medium Business Individual - SMBI from 27 to 50 during Individual assessment.
  • One of the reasons for such low rate of auto approval is due to outdated and sometimes redundant existing referral and decline policy rules. Currently AST reason codes in the Esanda Lending System - ELS have not been reviewed for a long time resulting in some of these codes becoming redundant with Esanda operational policy.

Description: Current business loan term limit is 5 years for the majority of applications there are few applications that are allowed to have greater than 5-year loan term based on special conditions. There are no relevant referral rules used by the scorecard in the system to cater for the current business allowed loan term limit at the time of credit assessment. This means that there are no referral rules in ELS to prevent loan term > 60 months to be referred in. This at times can lead to applications with loan term > 60 months to be processed right up to settlements, even though it may not satisfy the condition of an application to have greater than 5 year loan term. 7-year loans will now be offered across the board to all channels as a critical sales tool in order to attract and retain customers by being able to spread repayments over a longer term to ensure affordability. However, it will be operationally restricted for only those dealers on AFP by the DSO's. ESANDA is providing the leasing and loan facility for vehicles.
