A strong leader, excellent team builder and manager with sound technical skills on multiple technologies. Has managed many high values, mission critical projects and has the ability to lead teams to successful completion. Pioneer in onsite / offsite / offshore project model. Achievements: - Problem solving: However big an issue is, it can be solved relatively easily if one understands what exactly the issue is.. Whether technical or non-technical or managerial or any type, most of the issues can be prevented and / or mitigated if one has the ability to foresee with the slightest of the symptom of the occurrence. One who does not know what the problem is can never solve the problem.
- I have the ability to lead, manage, and work harmoniously with technical and non-technical teams and individuals.
- Managed many multi-million Dollar IT projects, which includes turnkey projects starting from System Requirement Specification through design, development, testing, and up to implementation, and / or data conversion. Clients: Dixons Curry, UK. British Gas, UK. Hindustan Machine Tools HMT , India.
- It is to be noted that I had/have been managing data conversion for two major Projects ProviderOne for WA State and HealthPlanFinder during Jul 2012 Jun 2013.
- ProviderOne: Data Migration from multiple Legacy systems to State-of-the-art Technology System for Health Care Authority, Washington State. About 2 Billion records have been migrated, and every record migrated has been validated in an automated way Legacy to OLTP Database and OLTP to Data Warehouse. This was an innovative technique that I had brought to the project, and that proved to be one the main reasons for the success of the project. CMS Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services Federal Agency had certified the System with zero Findings. WA is the only State to achieve this feat while every other States had Findings. Phase 1 completed and Phase 2 implementation in early Jan 2015.

Led various teams including business stakeholders besides the technical teams for, a Revamping their mission critical Cruise Reservation System, b building a brand new decision support system DSS , which included massive data migration from Legacy OLTP Systems, c Merger and Acquisition project which involved the migration of the Reservation Applications as well as the data.
- Managed teams consisting of various sizes up to 100 software professionals plus. I am more comfortable on managing very large and complex projects.
- Once I am in command, the upper management would get up-to-date information about the projects to the level of the details they would require. The management will never have the anxiety about the statuses of the project s . I foresee the potential issues in advance, and resolve them even before they can show up. I have the ability to build a strong team from any group of individuals, and their combined throughout would be much greater than the sum of their individual normal throughput.
- Turned around the projects that were failing.
|
- Within a short period of time after taking over the responsibility, identified the causes for the failure, and collaborated with the Executives, Key stakeholders, and the Primary vendor, devised new mechanisms to move forward in an accelerated fashion. The mechanism I devised to convert and validate 100 of data not just sample was unique not many would have even attempted to use such techniques while converting such a massive amount of data. Success achieved through:
