Support group consists of DXC Management, Transport Management and Housekeeping and Telemetry groups providing real time support to ensure the network maintains or exceeds 99.9998 availability. Ensure that departmental budget is in line with forecasted expectations. Lead and develop Engineers in the remote isolation, troubleshooting, field coordination, and follow up for MCI's Digital Radio, Asynchronous, and Synchronous Network. Network consists of over 4000 sites supporting multiplex equipment ranging from DS1 through OC12, transmission equipment ranging for OC3 through OC192, and DXC equipment from DSO through OC12. SONET network consists of over 28,000 Nortel OC48/OC192 Network Elements. Provide remote Provisioning of DS3, STS1, and OC12 transmission paths.
