Improvement Engineer
Responsibilities:- Led project to improve a critical business process “Contract Routing/Agreement”. Design and implemented new application (SDLC), analyzed several IT platform for implementation of new application. Project proposed changes in the workflow and BCM culture reducing the turnaround time from 15 days to 3 days representing 80% improvement. Prepared and got approved the Business Requirement Document. Applied hybrid (Waterfall and Agile) approach for the execution of project. Integration with SAP. Reduce Cycle Time from 3 wks. to 3 days.
- Participate in the project to define and implement BCM Cloud Platform (Applications, data, costs, security and governance) provisioning/deprovisioning services storage, server, and a VDI pilot to migrate from traditional IT environment to a Hybrid model. Created a Virtual Data Center (VMware infrastructure) and included Data Center migration and consolidation. The VDI pilot project included VDI design (CPU, Memory, Disk IOPS, Network and load balancing), analyze vendors options and proposal, performing testing configuration and UAT. Also, I led project team in defining and planning BCM-OIT Operational Governance for Cloud Strategy. As result 19 policies for service provisioning and operational cloud governance were defined.
